Hello,
how is your day going, hope it’s not stressful? Our opinion poll for this month is Success; what is success to you
or what’s your take on the word “success”
I did a random opinion poll and success
was described from various perspectives, ranging from academic excellence to
faith, achievement and lastly, life in general. Let’s take a quick look at the
response received.
The first group believes success is achieved goals. It is the good
outcome of an individual’s efforts,
it’s what you are able to achieve in life, or simply put, achieving ones goal.
Success is a mixture of preparation and luck. It is being able to achieve or
accomplish your goals. Success can be seen as a well lived life, success can also
be seen as laughing often even in the face of adversity.
Another group believes: Success is measured with two parameters. First, someone who knows God's plan and purpose for his life
and sticks to it, with or without fame. Second, when we reach Heaven, look back
and discover that we achieved all we were to do while on earth. Another
correspondent's response was: Meeting God's standard for life; Fulfilling God's
purpose for your life and achieving your plans through the help of God. It is the
pure fulfilment or joy you get from something.
Lastly, a respondent opined; my own definition of success is the impact
I have made in people's lives. I must be sincere to say that this particular
opinion made me have a total rethink about every aspect of life.
